Customer's reviews
Been training here for over 12 years now, and I can confidently say you won’t find anywhere better to train in karate, or any martial art for that matter. The club fosters a connection that drives continual improvement, no matter how long you’ve been training, with instructors who show genuine compassion and care while teaching at the highest quality. So whether you have other martial arts experience or not, it’s definitely worth a shot!

My son and I were one of the first people to sign up at Roubas Carlingford Karate Dojo 16 years ago, in 2009. We are now both Black belts and help train our junior students. For myself, starting training at a ripe age of 45 has been a great challenge, but with the amazing people in the club helping me on my journey it has been such a rewarding thing to do. Training with the Roubas Club is a very holistic experience. I love the physical aspect of punching, kicking and sparring but I also love the mental discipline and the traditional aspects that the Club holds from our home Dojo in Tokyo, Japan.
I believe the Roubas Club is a great place for children to develop themselves. We have seen so many children grow and change into confident young adults and beyond. Karate with the Roubas Club will certainly change you for the better. I've seen my son who is now 21 grow into a strong confident leader.
All this can't happen without a strong leadership group. The leaders of the club are all inspirational. The range of Black Belts is strong, young and old. They have become my extended family and I think will be for a very long time.

It is a great place to improve your mental and physical abilities. The karate instructors are very experienced and have professional ethics. I looked at more than 5 places and this was the best option for my child. I would send him to the class with peace of mind. I recommend this place if you don't want to waste your time in class.
